Type of Temperature Meter

Hi,

This is a continuation from Type of Instrument Field Devices. As you know that there are so many type of temperature meter which has been installed in the industry. So I try to break down into detail same as flow meter:

Bimetal thermometer
Thermocouple:

1. Base-metal thermocouple (E, J, K & T type) (>= 1000 degC)
2. Nobel-metal thermocouple (S, R & B type) (>= 2000 degC)

Resistance temperature detector
Thermistor
Pyrometer:

1. Optical pyrometer
2. Infrared pyrometer
